FreakOnALeash Ah I have the PS3 for that very reason about the XB live. All included, even the wireless is built in, where I had to buy it for my 360 (which I later sold for funds to buy the ps3.)


Zombie The other game I rented was Alone in the Dark. Basically you are trying to stop Lucifer from reincarnating. O and Lucifer declares all out war on New York City. The entire ciy is trashed.


Zombie Like I said, I don't have Live. Not that I can't afford it, but I refuse to pay to play online when I have already bought the 360, bought the internet(I pay a fee for it) and bught/rent the game. Why should I shell out 50 more?

I know I have missed out on a lot of games online modes(Which many is the best part), but o well.


Russia and the US are at war for an unkown reason. Russia hires Mercs. Bad Company(Company? Lol not even a squad. Four guys...four...) goes into a made up nation called Serdaristan. For some reason the entire Serd military is in Russian uniform and markings. Then at the end you end up in an unknown Arab nation and fight MEC and the Mercs. Seriously wtf.


FreakOnALeash Zombie, cool you tried it out. The online is almost completely different than single player. Your players load out for each class is different than you get in single player and the guns do not even function the same. Once you are online it becomes more familiar to you. You know... 30 rounds from your g36c will not kill the guy with a SPAS who snipes you in the head with one shot lol ok not THAT bad but it is more like BF2.


TopGun I'm pretty sure they don't. Although if you'd like to know what's happening over there, just play the first Ghost Recon. That will fill you in on pretty much everything you need to know.

So I finally got around to playing Bad Company. Very Meh. I don't have Live so I couldn't play online, but the single player was okay at best. Story is Russia and US at war for unknown reason. Overall sucks.


TopGun Happy b-day man, sorry for being a little late. Got wrapped up in playing Braid today and have been doing nothing else. Hope you had a great time. Tell jimmy I said hello and thanks, he saved me many a time.

Side note: Braid is amazing but super duper hard.

FreakOnALeash Ty on the birth day wishes Dan. Probably not going to do much tomorrow. Based on the weather I might go down to this beach at the base of a mountain I like for the views, and chill.


FreakOnALeash TG that would be cool if you and your friend picked it up, its hard to get people to use the voice chat and so staying in your squads is hectic but if a few good players end up n one squad, voice chat or no we all seem to follow the same stragety and clean up on a map.

I just played 20 conquest maps in a row and was in the top 3 for 19 of those and 1st for 6. They have this new scoring system where after you reach the rank of general you no longer get a counting score you get skill points and based on what kind of points you score on a map (team assist, head shot, avenger or saviour kills, flag caps ect) you either get or lose skill ranking which varies from 1 (being the best person playing the game) and 50. You can actually get 28 kills, 3 deaths and the highest score in the map and still lose skill points based on how you played... making it so you want to work in groups and get all the assist points you can.


Zoolander64 Greetings SG, It was a recent AVG update that is having issues. I believe it is fixed. I had it almost all day yesterday and today, but seems fixed about 2 hrs ago.


TopGun No problems here on Vista x64 with AVG Free 8. I've never seen a message like that.


Sungod anyone else having isues updating avg? tells me im suddenly missing a .bin file?
